Downtown San Jose Christmas in the Park

The 2003 holiday season marked the fifth year that the Vanished Children's Alliance has participated in this city tradition.  VCA joined hundreds of other San Jose area businesses, schools and community groups to decorate a virtual forest of trees in downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Caesar Chavez.  The holiday season is a time for contemplation and renewal, and VCA’s tree serves as a focal point to remember those families for whom holiday joy is tempered with sadness.  As in years past, VCA’s tree was adorned with ornaments featuring photos of the missing children registered with our casework department, seen by the 400,000 visitors drawn to the Plaza this year.

Vanished Children's Alliance would like to thank the following classes from Saint Justin’s School (Santa Clara) for making our ornaments:

Kathy Moore’s

1st Grade Class

Richard Wakefield’s

7th Grade Class

Gloria Wayne’s

8th Grade Class

We wish you and yours a safe and happy 2004!
