Orchard Supply Hardware How-To-Fair San Mateo
March 22 - 23, 2003
VCA staff and volunteers fingerprinted 241 children at the
Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) How-To-Fair in San Mateo, March 22nd and 23rd.
In
addition to providing free fingerprinting to fair-goers, VCA staff and
volunteers provided parents and their children with valuable safety
information, coloring books, sunglasses, stickers and a free DNA Kit.
Several
of our newly trained volunteers participated over the weekend
VCA volunteers helped to photograph and fingerprint children and disseminate
Safety First Coloring Books, Safety Packets, and DNA
Kits.
VCA's
table was once again located in the Land Of Fun area. In the Land Of Fun,
parents and children were treated to free entertainment, popcorn, balloons,
and fun activities like Spin Art and Paint-A-Pot.
